Method

How we handle numbers

Four rules we apply to this site and to every document we send. They are easy to check, which is the point.

No figure without a source and a date

If we cannot attribute it, it does not appear. That applies to our own measurements as much as to institutional data.

A dash rather than an estimate

Where we have not measured, the field stays empty. We would rather show a gap than a plausible number nobody can verify.

Our own results published with their method

Protocol, instruments, period and conditions, alongside the result. Including the results that do not favour us.

Corrections stated, not quietly edited

If a figure changes, the previous version and the reason are kept visible.

FAQ

What we get asked most

Is the water drinkable straight out of the machine?

No. Condensate goes through filtration, disinfection and remineralisation before it is fit to drink. It is that treatment chain, not condensation alone, that makes the water potable.

What happens at night, or in the dry season?

Production slows, and can stop. That is what the on-site reservoir is for: it is sized to cover low-production periods and smooth consumption.

Do you need a borehole or a water source nearby?

No. That is the defining feature of the process: it draws nothing from the ground and nothing from the network. The only resource required is ambient air.

Who maintains the installation?

Site teams, trained during installation, handle daily operation and first-level maintenance. Heavier interventions are carried by Amanow.

How much energy does it use?

Considerably more per cubic metre than pumping from a network. That is the honest trade-off, and it is why the systems run on solar rather than on a generator.

Is the technology new?

No. Atmospheric water generation is an established process used by around a hundred companies worldwide. What distinguishes Amanow is not the machine but operating a service on isolated sites rather than selling equipment.

Where do you install?

Only within the eligibility zone, defined by humidity and temperature. We say so before the site study rather than after.
